20QE2358 | Genuine International Fan Clutch Solenoid Air Valve (12V)

Description: Fan Clutch Solenoid Air Valve (12V)
Condition: New
Brand: International
Part Number: 20QE2358, 20QE2358P2

• Weight: 5 lbs
• Fit for: Navistar, International
• Functions:

  • Controls fan clutch: The valve receives an electrical signal from the engine control module (ECM) and uses it to control the flow of air to the fan clutch.
  • Efficiency: The valve helps improve the overall efficiency of the cooling system by ensuring that the fan operates at the optimal speed for the given conditions.
  • Fan clutch engagement/disengagement: When the valve receives a signal, it allows air to flow to the fan clutch, causing it to engage and increase the speed of the cooling fan. When the signal is removed, the valve restricts air flow, causing the fan clutch to disengage and reduce the fan speed.
  • Temperature regulation: By controlling the fan speed, the valve helps regulate the engine’s operating temperature. When the engine is overheating, the valve will activate the fan clutch to increase cooling. When the engine is running at a normal temperature, the valve will allow the fan clutch to disengage to reduce engine load and improve fuel efficiency.
