AMT 4242-95 2″ x 1.5″ Heavy Duty Straight Centrifugal Pump, Cast Iron With Stainless Steel Impeller is the preferred option for liquid and chemical transfer, heating and cooling, recirculation, booster service, dirty water and other industrial applications. Designed, manufactured and tested in the USA. This model is equipped with a 7.5 HP electric motor to guarantee power and performance. Stainless steel units areespecially effective in applications where rust and/or corrosion can develop in systems. Pumps aredesigned to handle liquids with solids content ordissolved solids and debris. Semi-open impellerfeatures self-cleaning ability that makes the unituseful in applications involving up to 1/4 diametersolids and muddy or dirty liquids. Discharge positioncan be adjusted in 90 increments with vent anddrain plugs for all positions. Type 21 mechanicalseal and O-ring casing seal. Pumps are notself-priming and require flooded suction.
